WINSOR MCCAY’s “Little Nemo in Slumberland” meets SKOTTIE YOUNG and KYLE STRAHM’s “Twig” in this fun-filled and lighthearted graphic novel about a shy, creative, and deaf 10 year old girl.

After Yuki’s parents sell their ranch and move to the suburbs, she is unexpectedly pulled into a rescue mission and journey of self-discovery while she helps save her fantastical dream world, Sea Horse Ranch, as well as the dream worlds of her new friends Hakim (and his Squidtopolis), Ben (his Moon Base Turtle), Sivanne (her Dolphin Cove), and siblings Jake and Nora (and their Penguin Mansion) from a recently escaped Nightmare.

Who is Yuki?

Yuki is a shy, creative, 10 year old girl who misses life on her family’s ranch after her family moves to the suburbs, she is also deaf.

Each night Yuki falls asleep, she enters her fantastic dream world, Sea Horse Ranch. On the ranch, Yuki, with her dream guide Sophie (who takes on the form of her sea horse pajamas) rides giant sea horses,  cares for Craftimals, and swings under her giant Sign Language Tree.
